A Lesson to Learn Pt.4 (AceofSpades)

Keisuke opened the door. "Hello Kotori. What was is that you asked? I'm afraid that I couldn't hear whatever it was you said through the door."

"I wanted to know if....there was an easy way to kill a witch and tell if a person is a witch...besides reading her soul." she said. It wasn't exactly the best question but any information would help her in the situation she's in.

"Hmm... that's quite a question Kotori. For starts you should know that for every trick that witches have created Meister's have created a new trick to trump it. However no meister has yet to see through a witches soul protect yet, so unless the witch has no soul protect going then you won't be able to tell who is a witch or not."
Keisuke was going to let that sink in before he started on the other part of the question. "As for the other part of the question. There is no easy way to kill a witch. It's hard to get up close to one in battle, but if you do they are normally very vulnerable in close range combat. So if you manage to get close to one in battle, don't waste the chance to kill them if you get close."

Kotori nodded. "Oh I see then. Thanks, that's all I needed. Okay bye!" she said and went off. As she walked, she thought "So Jun used a witch protect, which no one can see, thus no one knows she's a witch besides Spirit and me." Kotori brightened up. "Spirit!" she exclaimed. She raced off to look for him.

Spirit was in deaths office. Of course Death was there too. They seemed to just be talking sense there wasn't much else to do.

Kotori was lucky to hear Death's voice before rushing in. "No! I wanted to talk to Spirit privately." she thought. But Kotori was determined to talk to this guy. She knocked on the door and said loudly, "Um this is Kotori Takaki...do you mind if I talk to Spirit....privately."

Spirit and Death were both confused, but either way Spirit walked out of Death's office."What's up Kotori?"

Kotori was relieved Death asked no questions. She looked at Spirit and said seriously, "You know how I um...eavesdropped on your conversation with Jun yesterday right? Well, I heard about and know Maka and I was just thinking...does Jun have a weak spot?" She said the last part a bit timidly, as if she was a bit scared.

"So you heard all of that huh... As far as I can tell, like with all witches, your best bet is to attack her from behind. She's a close range fighter unlike most witches, so getting close won't be a problem, it's trying to get behind her for the final blow that's difficult." Spirit clearly wasn't as knowledgeable about Jun as Kotori had hoped.

"I see...." Kotori sighed. Then she asked, "Do you exactly know what happened to...Maka? What happened to her partner Soul?"

"I don't exactly know what happened between the two of them, but what I do know is that they accepted a very serious mission. Sometime during the mission they had to split up or something and Maka got capture. For Soul, I have absolutely no idea." Spirit had no idea what mission they took, not even Death would tell him.

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear that." Kotori said. She said thank you and bye and went off home.
