A Usual Day [Open, No Kill]

Hideo woke up at 8 a.m when his alarm clock called him. He stepped out of his bed still wanting to sleep. The redhead went to the closet and picked his usual dayly outfit. His red and orange lumberjack shirt, his worker shoes and casual jeans. Even with a casual look, Hideo still looked good. His hands ruffled through his hair to get it right. He balded his hands and brought them to his eyes, to rub the pair. Every morning his eyes would itch a bit and he had to rub it away. Sometimes he even didn't feel it itching but still rubbed his eyes.It had probably become an automatic aince he usually does it every day.

When Hideo opened the door to the small living room of his apartment, his eyes spotted the best pet in the world jumping on Hideo. "Well, Hello there, my dear Seiza. Who is the best husky in the world? Yes you are!" Hideo chuckled and placed Seiza her front paws from Hideo his chest to the ground. He walked to the closet and picked out some dog snacks. Seiza could already smell the delicious scent of the cookies and sat down next to her owner. It seems like that was already an automatic for Seiza, sitting when she will be getting a treat.

The hand of the ginger reached for the other closet and opened it. It revealed some cereals and bowls. He took the cereal and one bowl and placed it on the table. Then he turned in a swift more to the fridge and took out the milk. He turned once more and sat down on one of is usual high leather bar chairs. The red color of the chairs fit perfectly with the wooden table were he was sitting at. He poured in some cereals and milk into the bowl. "Looks like i forgot the spoon!" Hideo laughed and turned his bar chair 180 degrees so he was facing the cubboard with the spoons in it. He took out a small spoon and turned around again. His spoon picked up a few cereals and a bit milk and so he began eating his breakfast.

As soom as he was finished he cleaned everything and placed it on the right place. He said goodbye to Seiza and closed the apartment door. Hideo lived on the highest stage of the building and he also had a huge balcony for his own will.He really loved it and didn't miss any company because he had Seiza, his loyal husky friend.

Hideo would always take the stairs from his 12th level to ground 0. For him it was a warm up for the day's challenge.

He lived very close to the DWMA so it only took him about 10 minutes to get there and only 5 minutes aith his BMX. His feet moved together with his legs and it created movement in the weels of the bike as well. On the way to the Academy he did some tricks and stunts aith his bike as well, he would take every time he had to practice some of his tricks.

He placed his bike with all the others and ran inside which made his shoulder bag hop up and down. He greeted everyone in a hurry to get in class on time. The bell rang just as he ran inside and Dr. Stein greeted him. "Welcome Hideo. Always just in time, aren't you?" The crazy teacher said with his usual expression stitched to his face. "Hello to you too. Dr. Stein!" Hideo said a with a bit of a heavy breathing pace. Then he bowed to add to his greeting. He went to sit next to his partner, Saiyuki and then the day officially had begun for Hideo.

Kotori did not have a good morning. Grandpa had woken her up an hour early to practice and have a "nice" jog. The next minute, Grandpa was yelling at her that she had only 10 minutes till the bell rang. Turns out that while she was doing her little warm up, she fell asleep. She was so panicked that she took the shortcut (jumping over dumpsters, climbing trees and etc). She ended up having five minutes extra when she entered Dr. Stein's classroom. She sighed heavily as she collapsed on her chair. She combed her tangled hair with her hands and brushed twigs off her outfit. "I probably look like a baby godzilla!" Kotori groaned to herself. She could feel Dr. Stein look at her appearance in amusement. Being in an awful mood, Kotori couldn't help but growl.

A boy entered in as she finished doing her ponytail. "Oh, it's Hideo...the guy from the battle." Kotori thought.

Hideo took a glance over all the faces who were in class already. He noticed Kotori with a somewhat tired expression. Hideo waved at her to get her attention. "Hey, Kotori!" He yelled while standing up from his seat and casually walking to her. "Hey, how've you been?" An honest smile appeared on the face of Hideo, sometimes he didn't need to put a fake on one it. "I see your wounds healed. That's good!" Hideo was inspecting her body from a metre away, looking if there were any wounds left from the fight. "Hideo, would you mind not inspecting one of my student and go sit on your own seat?" Another voice said through the class. Hideo knew it was Stein and quickly looked up from where the wounds were. A flustered expression was now sitting on his face. "Sorry that i'm worried about my comrad!!" Hideo screamed in reaction to Stein, with some embarrasment going on in his face. Hideo was easy to get flustered and red.

"Hi Hideo. I'm fine, thanks," she replied, smiling back. When Hideo mentioned her wound, she automatically touched it. "Oh...yeah....Tasha healed it for me yesterday," she explained right before Dr. Stein interrupted. Kotori didn't pay too much attention due to her lack of energy but she could tell by Hideo's expression that it wasn't a nice one.

"It's okay, Dr. Stein. He just wondered if I was okay from yesterday," Kotori said to Stein. Kotori felt like she was talking like a robot. It didnt help that she felt like a broken robot too.

Tasha ran into the classroom, She began breathing again seeing as she never does when she runs but she still doesn't lose energy. She will have her "Breathers" though. "Hey Kotori, Hey Hideo. Good morning Dr. Stein. How are you all?" she asked and sat down in a seat to the far left of the third row.

Kotori smiled at Tasha and waved. Sh didn't want to get in trouble with Stein especially after she talked back at him.

Tasha smiled and swayed a little after waving back, a song was in her head. It was a song she wrote called A day in time, she also stated to hum to it.

"I'm great, Tasha. How about you?" Hideo did't know why but felt great today. Everything went smooth, even talking to Stein and paying attention to him was easy. "By the way, Sir? It is great weather outside, so will you please give us this lesson outside in the open air?" The boy asked nice and calm to his scarred teacher. The world would end today and Hideo would even be happy. His day was just perfecf, with new friend and good weather. His attention switched back to Stein. "First, what do you want as a lesson if we would go outside and secondly, you have never called me 'sir' before. You must be happy today, Hideo." Stein said aith his usual smile and voice or did Hideo just sense some happiness in the voice of his teacher too? Hideo thought about what they could do, he got it. "What about we do a fight?". "A fight? Like last time?" Dr. Stein stated in response to Hideo and the rest of the sudents who were paying attention. "Not at all, sir! We, the students, will be facing you in teams of three, of course!" Hideo smiled while stepping closer to Stein. A lot of students were agreeing aith their yelling and already teaming up. Stein his eyes widened as he heard the request of one of his students. To be so enthousiastic to fight Stein was very unbelieveble, but then again who doesn't want to fight a teacher.

Stein could not do anything else than accept Hideo's offer. "Fine then, the teams will be Kotori, Tasha and Hideo with their partners. The second team..." Hideo stopped listening as he heard his name in the first group. His eyes lit up also did his smile. He really wanted to test his skills against a teacher. 'This might actually not be that mich of a usual day...' Hideo thought as he was walking through the doors to go outside. "Tasha! Kotori! We'll teach the teacher a lesson! What do you think?" Hideo smiled at his teammates while he spoke.

Kotori didn't seem to have woken up from her sleepy mood. "Fight? Fight against Dr. Stein?" she muttered to herself. She couldn't help but feel a little worried. After all, Dr. Stein is the strongest meister to graduate from the academy. When Stein announced the teams, she was relieved that she had a team with people she actually knew. It was also good since they all fought together once. She yawned and then shook her head. "This is no time to be tired, Kotori!" Kotori scolded herself. She walked over to Hideo and Tasha and grinned. "Yeah! If we did good fighting against each, we'll be awesome working together," she exclaimed.

Damon approached the school to find everyone gathered outside again, he sighed. "If Talon made me late for the witch hunt, I'm gonna be angry." He said as he approached Kotori, Hideo, and Tasha. "What's going on guys?" He asked calmly, and noticed that everyone was paired up in groups of three and scratched his head.

Kotori saw Damon and waved. "We're going to fight Stein," she explained.

Damon let out a breath through his teeth as if the thought pained him. "Suddenly I'm glad I'm late." He said with a chuckle. "I wouldn't want to become one of his subjects." He said with a laugh, before looking over at Stein. "Hey Doc! Why are you fighting students, isn't that against school policy?" He asked with a smile.

Hideo saw Damon arriving and waved. "Where have you been? You were almost too late to fight against Stein." Hideo heard Damon talk to Stwin and he decided to answer in Stein's place, "I made a request to fight him in teams. So i think it is allowed... If its not, he could've said no." The redhead grinned as he heard Stein talk above everyone to get their attention. "Now now, calm down, because the first fight will be starting. Team 1, come at with with the intent to kill. And Damon, i'll be targetting you because you were late, and ou can join the first fight." Stein announced to everyone.

Since the fight already started, Hideo stood ready to take impact from every side. He already had his weapon out in the same form and color as last time.

Damon laughed a little nervously before shaking it off. "Alright, old man, I got you." He said before shrugging and taking his fighting stance, and forming his right arm into the sickle, He looked at his allies for the fight, before dashing toward Stein with speed. He started with a diagonal slash toward the ground, stuck his blade onto it's tip, and used it to pivot his body into a round off kick toward Stein's head, more specifically, the bolt sticking out of the side of it.

"We're first huh," Kotori muttered to herself. Kotori prepared herself and grasped on her scythe. She couldn't help but smile. Kotori really did like the feeling of a fight. It made her feel carefree and...just awesome. Kotori stood a few meters behind Damon as he attacked. Kotori decided she was better being back-up.

Tasha looked at them surprised. 'They got over yesterday quick. That's good. I don't want to attempt to hurt one of them but maybe I won't. I can't take that chance again though. I almost killed my partner...' she thought to herself. "I don't know what technique to use. Unless he's in madness mode my light takeover technique won't do much damage. I can't control my night stance technique and my... That's It! I'll use the stripe technique, it's a combination of light and dark and I can control that one for the most part." She said and stood with her porcelain hilted swords with a black swirl design along the silver blade in an 'X' over her chest, the cross section over her heart. She attacked Dr. Stein from the opposite side of which Damon attacked she took her swords and swiped down with one and across with the other. "This is where I get sadistic." she said after attacking just trying to strike a little bit of wonder into her opponent. The curiosity would cause him to fight less effectively so It could become and advantage for our team. Her swords began to glow and the black swirls turned into spikes that could pierce steel.

As Hideo saw everyone moving he started to go as well. With his arm as a blade, he rushed to his sensei. Seeing that Damon was Stein his target, Hideo would play as a bodyguard. If Stein would just touch Damon, they would be finished. Hideo his speed was above average, due to his daily running and sporting. His stamona was good as well. Looking at all his skills Hideo was above average of it all, except for medics. He didn't know any of those. To say it short, Hideo had always been at a level higher than a normal student. So if he was a one star, he would fight and move like a second star.

Stein waited patiently for Damon to come at him. "First lesson! As a target you should never fight the enemy head on, on your own." Stein moved in a swift move to dodge the attack, and as Damon was flying just next to Stein, the teacher was moving his hands toward Damon's torso. Luckily, Hideo came to rescue his so called president Damon. He knew exactly what Stein meant by 'target'. He know he was just immitating a game. The rules of that game were, protect you president, the target of your enemy, even if you get killed. Hideo understood the logic in Stein his brain mass.

"Don't get your hopes up!" Hideo shouted when he reached Stein. The blade of Hideo was almost touching Stein's hand but then the teacher spoke up. "You fell for it..." Hideo his eyes widened as he got hit by one of Stein his attacks. Stein his hand connected with the throat of Hideo and the boy fell on the ground. Hideo fell on his back and felt some blood coming out of his mouth. The blood came from the inside of his throat as he coughed the liquid up. Be quse Hideo lay on his back the blood splashed on his own face and clothing. "Damn..." Hideo stood up letting his hand caress his neck where his sensei had hit him. "Don't think that its over, old man." Hideo said with blood flowing out of his mouth onto his lips and chin. With a balded fist Hideo wiped away the blood on his lips and went on with the fight. He let his blade turn back into his arm. From now on he would use the same techniques as his sensei teached him.

Hideo didn't notice Tasha attacking and as he looked he saw that she was going to hit him. Hideo got his hopes up but then Stein is one of the best. "You aren't fooling me, Tasha!" In another swift move Stein dodged his opponent ant its attack. Hideo watched at the two, still coughing up blood. "Stein... What was that all about? Did you want to kill me? If yes, good, because that's what i'm trying to do with you!" A typical crazy smile was stitched to Hideo's face. "I have to give you credit, sensei. Even I, your beloved student, didn't know you were so serious about this. But the worse is that i didn't saw that trick coming. As your student i should know all your tricks." Hideo was just trying to get Stein his attention with speaking to him about the past when Stein was still his private sensei. He tried to let the others sneak up behind him and attack while risking his own health.

Hideo stormed toward Stein once more, just as a diversion to let the others attack as a team. The ginger tried to dodge every move but when a person like Dr. Stein is your opponent, the only thing you can count on is luck. Hideo got hit multiple times with Stein his technique: Soul Purge. Hideo did not expe t that hit and was once more falling on the ground. This time with pain in his upper chest where his sensei had hit him. The boy looked in his shirt and saw drops of blood streaming out of another wounds. "Damn it... You're gonna kill me one day..." Even though the pain of the wound he still tried to get some time to let the others attack.

Tasha, since she was using the stripe technique, coughed up a small amount of blood and it was a very dark crimson. "My blood is so thick and dark, not much submurged... Thanks mom." she said. She began to run with demon speed, with such she could have dusted a cheetah (My niece is rubbing off on me, it means I would have beat a cheetah in a race due to my speed) and as her swords went from porcelain hilted to gold and silver hilted and the blade stainless steel and it glown a violet color, the paralysis move, and had three streaks of fire along it. In this if it so much as touched him any counter-attacks would be deflected back on him. (Haha! Tasha went Pokèmon for a moment.)

Kotori was shocked. "Shoot...he's worse than I expected," she thought to herself. "I guess it's my turn," Kotori muttered. She ran to him, fast enough to look like a blur, and then hooked Stein with the curve of her scythe. She pulled the scythe towards her, pushing Stein foward. She punched him full-on on the face and then "unhooked" Stein and sidekicked him on the chest. If this was successful, he would be flying to any of other teammates who would hopefully attack him.

Stein went flying towards Tasha and this presented the perfect opportunity for her to attack she used her swords, in the violet glowing mode, and the flames were put out she sliced both on his spine to paralyze him and if successful this battle is almost ours. "silence and if possible use your double weapon powers." she thought to herself the glow dulled and the blade was of pure 24 kt. gold per sq. inch.

Hideo saw the fight changing sides. The students were now having the adventage when Tasha hit Stein with her paralyze technique. Hideo widened his eyes when he saw Stwin falling on the ground, not moving a muscle. 'Did we win...' Even in his mind he doubted that Stein would be beaten like this. As Hideo lay on the ground because of the last blow he took, he slowly crawled to Stein. While he was moving he tried to push himself up. Hideo had enough strength and will power to stand up after those hard and painful attacks he took from his teacher. When Hideo looked closer, he saw Stein move a finger to get ready for the next attack. Of course it was Damon he targeted so Hideo began to run to Damon. His eyes still followed Stein as he stood up at high speed and ran to Damon too. Luckily, Hideo got there first even with the pain he had. His hand changed into his blade one more and he spoke the words as he was about to hit Stein, "Tsurara, Soul Spikes!" He called out the name that was given to his blade, Tsurara and the techniaue he was about to use after it. Hideo saung his arm that was a blade, and 12 ice spikes were flying to Stein. Stein was quite close to Hideo so it was a certan hit. Four of the spikes went through Stein like he was a ghost. The spikes disapeared when they came out of his back. No wound could be seen on the body of one being hit by Soul Spikes. The damage was inside the body doing its work to hurt Stein. Of course it wasn't Hideo his best attack, Hell, it even was his worse technique. The techniaue only hold the opponent in the air for a bit and gives a stingy pain where hit. When Stein got hit he flew a few seconds in the air, that in when Hideo went to go in for another strike. The redhead ran toward his beloved teacher. He jumped up and drop kicked on Stein his chest, making hin lauch to the ground.

When Hideo got back on the ground he felt blood coming uo once more. He coughed in his hand and saw splashes of blood. Hideo fell on his knee and felt quite dizzy. "Is this... because of blood loss? Now already?" He thought but then he remembered the other attack, it may have side effect. "Looks like the effect are finally working on you, Hideo." Stein said as he stood up, cracking his back. On the teacher his face one could see that the damage of the attacks of Hideo were there, but Stein is a strong meister even without his weapon so it was probably nothing for him. "The side effect are dizzyness and headaches. You should be happy i didn't put my full force in that attack otherwise, you were done for." Stein turned back to the other student and looked in a way that was arrogant and cocky, "It that really all you've got?"

Kotori clicked her tongue in disappointment. She thought that they got him. Then a voice echoed in her head, "He's the strongest meister to graduate Shibusen after all." After that, she saw a sight that crushed her hopes even more. She saw Hideo collapse in a mini blood puddle. Of course, she got worried but there was Stein to deal with. She went up to Tasha and whispered, "Remember how you healed Damon and me yesterday? Do you think you can do that with Hideo? I'll try my best to distract Stein." Instead of waiting for a reply, she raced to Stein. However, she did not run in a straight line. She ran in zig-zags so it would be harder to catch up with. When she reached him, instead of directly hitting Stein, Kotori ran a few meters behind him. When Stein turned around, she ducked down and attempted to trip him. If she successfully tripped him, Stein would fall and Kotori would strike him at the ribs and he would fly like a golf ball would when it got hit by a golf club.

As Hideo tried to puah himself up once more, he gor more dizzy. His stubborn nature made him standu. He did not want to lose, no mather what. Soon Hideo got back on his feet standing straigt with his arms hanging besides his body. His bangs hanged in front of his eyes as his head was a little bowed toward the ground. A large grin could be seen just under the shadow of the bangs.The grin had a creepy touch to it aith all the blood on his lips. The tongue of Hideo slided out of his mouth to lick up the blood on his upper and lower lip. He tasted the metal taste and looked up. "Don't forget i was once your student... This all was-" Then Hideo saw Kotori charge at Stein from behind. The grin stitched to Hideo his face grew bigger as he finished his sentence, "-.. just a mere trick to get your attention away from the rest!" Hideo annouced as Kotori was alwost reaching the teacher. As soon as Stein turned around, Kotori had already attacked him succesfully. "You know what, the side effects didn't even work! I lied all the time to give the oghers an oppertunity to hit you! Many times you blocked or dodged us but in the end, we got you!" Be ause Hideo was such a good lier, he lied about the side effects wanting to shock the man. The boy raced up the wall to reach Stein his height. As the teacher began to fall down Hideo jumped up and gave the wall a good push to fly in the air. Hideo wanted to land on the other side of Stein so as he jumped, Hideo did a salto and got to the right side where he wanted to kick the man. He wanted to kick ghere because that was a place one of the spikes had hit him. Aith crashing his foot onto that already damadged place he made Stein fall straight down with even more speed.

"I can but, he'll have to stay still. There is an attack I haven't used that would immobilize Dr. Stein for about an hour and a half." Tasha said and used the swords to slit her wrists while the others were holding Stein back. She ran up to Stein slinging her wrists from opposite sides in an equal sign formation. The blood turned black and she said, "Blood web!" the blood separated into strands and connected with a web like structure after it did. If the blood lands on him, which it should since he's on the ground, he'll be stuck there unable to use any attacks and immobilized for an hour and a half, give-or-take a couple minutes.

She stared at Stein in satisfaction as he flew in different directions. The teacher reminded her of a pinball in a pinball machine. To add to her high spirits, Hideo caught Stein off guard by his lies and Tasha had been able to paralyze Stein. "The tables are turning on you Stein," she thought happily. However, she couldn't help hoping that Stein DIDN'T have a trick up his sleeve.
